How the Austin Concrete Prices on This Site Are Built

No. They are ranges drawn from published prices, meant to show you what a fair quote sits near. A quote needs someone to see the soil, the slope, the access and anything touching the street.

From price pages that were online when we checked them: an Austin contractor's driveway price list, Texas contractors' price pages, a Texas cost model, Austin cost data from a national home-services site and an Austin ready-mix supplier. The Austin concrete price guide names the sources behind every row, and each page lists its sources at the bottom with the date they were checked.

Each publisher counts once, whatever number of pages it has. With three or more publishers, the low end is the middle of their published lows and the high end the middle of their highs, so one outlier can't drag the range; with fewer, the range runs from the lowest published low to the highest published high. Every bound you see is a number a source actually published. Lead-generation and templated calculator pages are left out.

Because only one Austin contractor publishes prices we could verify directly, so the rows combine it with other Texas sources and say so in the table. The standard driveway row, $6–$10 per square foot, rests on four published Texas sources.
